My New NVMe SSD Isn't Showing Up in BIOS or Windows – What Am I Missing?

Just installed a brand new M.2 NVMe drive (Samsung 990 Pro) into an available slot on my motherboard, but it's not being detected anywhere. I've double-checked that it's seated correctly and even tried a different slot. Is there a specific BIOS setting I need to enable, or could it be a compatibility issue I'm overlooking?
