Seriously struggling with red-eye jet lag to Europe – what are your go-to survival hacks?

I'm flying from NYC to London next month, arriving early morning, and last time I did a red-eye, I was a zombie for days. I really need to hit the ground running this trip for work. Does anyone have specific, proven strategies for minimizing jet lag when you land and need to be functional immediately? I'm open to anything!
