Surah An-Nisa 136: O Believers Believe in Allah
Original Arabic Text : ……يَٓا اَيُّهَا الَّذ۪ينَ اٰمَنُٓوا اٰمِنُوا بِاللّٰهِ وَرَسُولِه۪ وَالْكِتَابِ
English Translation: “O Believers, believe in Allah, his messenger, the book….”
The phrasing in Surah An-Nisa (4:136), “O believers, believe in Allah…”, is a classic example of a linguistic and theological concept in the Quran where an action is commanded to those who are already performing it.
