Drone Hijacked by Eagle in Tunceli Skies
In a rare showdown between nature and technology, a wild eagle successfully “captured” a flying drone in the mountainous province of Tunceli, Turkey.
The incident occurred while a local operator was capturing aerial footage of the region’s rugged landscape. According to eyewitness accounts and the drone’s final transmitted images, the majestic bird of prey spotted the device from a distance and began tailing it.
The “Aerial Robbery”
Thinking the drone was either a territorial threat or potential prey, the eagle swooped down with incredible speed. In a matter of seconds, the bird, intercepted the device mid-air, carried the “captured” tech away to a remote cliffside.
